What do you just feel when you hear the word memory!!!! We often use it too much in our daily conversation. However, we never try to understand the beauty of it. We overlook the hidden trauma that comes along with it.

I remember being mesmerized by the concept of human memory. It was through a movie in Malayalam which I watched when I was a kid. The lead in the movie starts forgetting daily tasks. These include brushing teeth, the usual office route, and office ethics. He even forgets his family at the end. We all know Alzheimer’s, that was the movie about. It was scary. At the same time, it taught everyone a lesson. We should do the tiny things in our daily activities of life with enthusiasm. You never know how much you are storing throughout.

Memories are quite crazy. We are taught to walk and eat. We do this throughout our life in the same pattern. We are unsure about the size of the memory our body can store. However, one thing is certain. Current cloud technology would crash if it had to manage human memories. People often say, forget it, it’s just a matter of time. But the reality is, we never forget. It’s stored somewhere deep inside our storage, which might awaken at any point in life.

The mind recalls every negative moment. This happens if I were asked to remember one thing in life that hurt you the most. It would retrieve them from the memory storage. It hits you in the face with them. At the same time, if I were asked about the happiest moment, I would wonder. Where are all these memories stored?

Let that be a good or bad memory , it cannot be erased so easily. To live your life to the fullest, store your sad memories deep down. Let only good ones overflow above them. Handle with utmost care. Memories might break into pieces and shatter your peace of mind. If you take care of them, they can give you a cute smile on your face throughout your life.
